Forget about the "Recently I busy with work and so on...." This time is a positive huge turn for me now.
I take all of this as enjoyable ride with on-going learning process.
From my previous post, I have yet to take photos of all the good stuff I have discovered (mainly are just food, so don't even bother much. 😆). My daily routine with fasting of 8 hours doesn't affected me much except that I slept early lately. Whenever is netflix/reading time before bed, I will easily fell asleep. Tired after facing the traffic jam rushing back home perhaps. Of course, there are days where I enjoy going back early and reach home early to iftar with the fam. I felt energetic and fresh during Ramadhan month. Crazy of me waking up at 5.30am just to sahur before 6am. Where did I find the energy to wake this up early? Guess is a routine now.
Recently I bake (not really, but a recipe that does not required to bake/steam the cake) a simple dessert for upcoming Raya 2023. I even take my own free time to cooked myself a home-made pumpkin soup accompanied with toasted garlic bread. It felt therapeutic whenever I picked up a chef knife and a wooden cutting board, chopping slowly the ingredients for mirepoix preparation and then sniffing the aroma of mixed-herb scent from the cooking pot while boiling slowly the pumpkin and the sliced-vegetables. It just felt like back old-days in college where we used to cooked in the kitchen to serve the customer (students/lecturers.)
I think I'm going to learn baking for real this time. Maybe to learn less-sugary recipe?
Insyallah~
I counted my tiny efforts on everything I did and my blessings.
Aamin~
