Food Mega Festival 2015 are back on second time at Stadium Melawati and Karnival Mega Sale
and it was off the hook. Many eateries, food trucks, bottle-drinks, hijab accessories and wears, makeup and statement accessories and more. I love to look at the accessories part where they're selling nice statement necklaces, bangles and some earrings. However, the most excited part is the food section where they selling delicious indulges; grill chicken/beefs, burgers, tacos and more.
Consider FAT AND HAPPY motto here. Because who hates food? We should be grateful that we have food and water to survive here. Be thankful to God.
If you notice that most food booth selling Italian, American theme which consist of cheese, grill meat, brown sauce and cold beverages such as coffee/tea with different scents, We used to walk to day/night markets for nasi ayam, laksa, kuih-muih, char koay teow, yew char koay and other Asian food. But here, all Americano-Italiano no makanan desu. (Sorry, rojak language here. paiseh.) The best thing is you could only find these on 26-27th December. Two days nia. We should come and head to their food booth to taste their delicious delicacies. Or at least like once in a blue moon, as you can never get this everyday. (You can actually find them via Instagram.) I did not say eating Western is bad, but also we should not forget our Asian food here as well. Be a food traveler just like the people in Food Network where knowledge never end.
The food festival was held on 26-27th December 2015 from 10am-10pm. I went there at 5pm-6.30pm because I was sweating the whole time. I stopped at Love Me Seven Days booth and Ayaq Botoi's. I bought the white coffee for mom and go for Golden Takoyakies. I love Takoyaki because it taste like a soft-melt ball inside. Macam heaven ok? Besides tread wandering around the Karnival Mega Sale, I have seen a lot of artist and vendors brand selling muslimah clothing. All here are considered affordable prices due to year end sale. I hope I can go again for 2016 year end sale festival.
