The Luggage Locker Story - 06.04.2024

 


Dear Diary, I just encountered a new unfortunate event on a typical Saturday afternoon. 😖How that happens? - Well...I bought (thanks to my boyfie 😭) a new luggage bag again and this is the second bag that I yet to even unlock it to pack for my upcoming trip. How on earth is this happening to me? *sigh. Consider my mistake for this time and I have wholeheartedly accept this mistake I've learn. 

The story behind this unfortunate event:

I was packing my clothes and my other necessary things. Have gone through all the things I have planned to bring and decided to continue last packing before the flight day. While I finished roll my OOTTD (Outfit of the trip day) and stuff, I decided to unlock my luggage to take a look at the compartment/space inside the bag. As I push my luggage towards my room, I figured if I need to set the password first so I can open my luggage. The combination code is still 000, so I guess it won't be a problem to do the password setting. Looking at the push button, I tried to push forward to unlock the bag Without thinking of anything, I just followed the steps given by the luggage and set the password. The button is said to use a sharp object and to press it after we set a new combination number. I used a blue pen and press the button as usual. But....

                    

This happened....😓😩😩😩😩😩
Had I no choice to bring my luggage bag back to the shop I've purchased and ask for their assistance. The salesperson and his colleague immediately contact their supervisor while me waiting for their next action while contacting mom and boyfie. I was speechless of what had happened to me today but at the same time it was silly of me for letting this happen. Silly of me pushing that small button when I've noticed the lock with 000 combination still unable to unlock the mechanism. Which means, it was already locked and cannot unluck even under 000 combination code. And yet my itchy hands try to set a new password when it is still locked. Bravo Tasya. Bravo! 😣 

I asked if the luggage bag can be repair before Raya 2024? They said the bag can repair but, unable to do it before Raya. 😕....My mind was jammed for a while. I did not loose my temper nor crying as I remained calm and asked for advice. My eyes were staring at other luggage bag and all I see is the black color, same brand of my luggage bag. I asked if there is another color just like mine, but the salesperson said "left only black..." - NO WAY NO WAY.  My mind can only think of 1 thing and that 1 thing is "I have no choice but have to make decision before is too late" thing.

Guess what?!

I bought another luggage bag again. AGAIN. 😱😱😱😭😭😭

This time the color is same with my boyfie's. He had advice me to ask the salesperson set the password before I leave the mall and so I did. 

Phobia of doing the password by myself, might as well wait for people to assist me...

After I paid at the cashier counter, the salesperson kindly help to set a new password for me and I roll down my luggage happily off to home.

Still can't believe that I spent RM600++ for 2 luggage bags.

Mom asked for a supporting letter or any black and white to proof my bag is given to be repaired. They don't have such document or maintenance list, so they can only label my bag and stated the problems and get my contact number to update me the status of the luggage bag mechanism.


The silly steps I followed earlier. Should have go youtube for tutorials first. 😓

Glad that I handled this situation calmly.
