WHAT HAPPENED IN MAY 2023

Mixed feelings. Stayed 1 hour from 11am to 12pm to see if miracles happen.

Sadly no. The plane really delayed exactly as they announced.

Occasion: Suha's Wedding Reception

Time: 12pm - 3pm

Location: Park Royal Hotel, Penang Island

My highschool ChinLay-twin sent an invitation to me to attend her wedding reception in Penang on 27th May 2023, Saturday. I was with my boyfie on a dinner date in Aeon Bukit Raja and we both discussed the plan at Starbucks after Johnny's. We decided to book a back-to-back flight since we are just going to attend the wedding. Unless we plan a Penang day trip then it will be different which required an extra off day to go "kai-kai". 

On the same day, we both booked 10am to 11am flight because the rest of the early morning flight is super early like 5am, 7am. As for the return flight, we booked 7.45pm since the wedding end at 3pm. At least we have some time to strolling in Penang and it may look tiring because is a back-to-back journey. My point is I don't want to waste time and cause any trouble especially those humans with dark blue uniforms. 

We get ready, arrived KLIA 2 by 9am and waited for boarding to the plane. Boyfie guided us from head to toe (I'm suck at travelling by flight and will be anxious if things doesn't go well.) It was 9.45am by the time we were sitting patiently while me having a small excitement, thinking to attend the wedding while traveling to Penang Island, my hometown for the first time with my boyfie.  Suddenly, we heard a loud announcement mentioned our flight plate no and hence "DELAY....TO 12.40PM."...😭

YOU KIDDING ME?

WELL HELLO! I HAVE A WEDDING TO ATTEND HERE! 12PM TO 3PM BRO!

We were both upset with the announcement of flight delayed. Boyfie asked if just to fly to Penang for an impromptu short-getaway and then fly back home to KL. At first I was thinking ok, but then I feel like is not worth it because it will be extreme rushing if we were to travel by GRABCAR. Anyways, I suggested to us that we shall wait till 12pm noon if there's any changes in between the time, but if no. Then we cancel the plan. I was preparing a short apologise message to my chinlay-twin before I could send to inform her what exactly happened. And so...we waited for another 1.5 hours to see if there's a miracle but sadly no. 

AND....

Yes, I failed to attend the wedding. What The Eff. Just because of a slightly "delay" by the flight. 😭😥😩..Sedinya, nak buat macam mana? Bukan salah penumpang, salah kapal terbang. We left immediately with our sour facial expression, both of us were disappointed with the unforeseen incident. No wonder the flight ticket is cheap. 😠...Sigh* On the way home, we were both tired to think of going out to the mall or any places. Our brain were drained with tiredness while me constantly coughing the entire time in the car. (Was still sick and slowly recovering) It won't help so I'm thinking of resting for the weekend and healing from my current coughing. Worst coughing experienced ever after Coivd-19, plus the weather is well damn hot. Please remember to stay hydrated all the time and avoid ice for good. I'm planning to quit ice until I recovered properly.

COLDPLAY CONCERT IN NOVEMBER 2023 TO MALAYSIA

Honestly, this is another unforgettable story I've experienced and is like 1 week before my Chin-Lay Sis's wedding. 

So here's the story...Coldplay announced that they are coming to Malaysia this year for a live concert in November 2023. As for your's truly, I never been to a live concert before and I was so looking forward to it. I even list down at least to attend one live concert in my life. But of course depends on which artist too. I would prefer to attend BTS but they're currently on long hiatus due to their upcoming military services which leads them to their solo's project. One by one their solo album is released and who knows what are they up to while waiting their turns for military services. (So glad, Syed Saddiq demolished PLKN in 2018)

Honestly, I was actually excited and eventually researched and studied their CAT seating (choosing the best view for live concert ain't easy since is my first time.) I listed down the DO's and DONT'S list and shared to my sister and boyfie as guidance. *Gonna keep that for future concerts 😎. Before I knew anything, I made myself clear that, it will never be a yes for this one because I know how bloody hard to buy concert tickets via online and I definitely felt the tension by the people who bought tickets in Youtube. This is gonna be the first time I am purchasing live concert ticket in my entire life. (I'm not a concert person, but I do love good music with meaningful lyrics and I do know how to differentiate what pros and cons of the way it influence for me.) If can, I want to attend BTS live concert before they disband one day. 😭

However, the ticket purchasing day fell on weekdays😓 and sadly I have no choices but have to depend on my phone to buy the tickets. (I could have apply AL for this but I choose to go office.) Before 9am, I have downloaded the apps and logged in both websites for easy accessible. BUT, as the time hit 9am sharp....The first thing I am sure was the app will crashed like so bad that it won't allowed us to enter the website, which is true. (Please look at the photos above and you can tell what exactly is happening from 9am to 12pm noon.) At that point, I have mixed feelings and super stressed while waiting for the queue to buy. I did watched youtube videos on how to buy live concert tickets via website and turns out it was super stressed like hell. During purchasing time, I have read new updates via Twitter said lots of scalpers secured more than 20 tickets in a few minutes. I am guessing that, they formed their team of idiot scalpers while here we are, stuck at the queue, waiting for the bar to move all the way to the end (fullbar) which left us with nothing as the time reach to 12pm noon. 

I was waiting patiently and hoping I can enter the website, but I only managed to enter at 12pm from 9am...Look at this, all the seats are left with "unable to purchase" even the seats are still vacant in green like "The Grinch"😠😡 (unable to purchase because already sold out!) I just clicked all the seats and I got 1 is vacant vacant! But I need 4 tickets, so I just let it go. As I scrolled all the CAT seatings, none of it are vacant. NONE. In a few minutes, I checked their Malaysia Ig and saw an ig post stated "SOLD OUT" in tiny white font highlighted in red. Hey, write in bigger lah!! APA NI!!!

OK..No chance liao...😐

I have my lunch while reading latest updates of twitter and was super angry. Apparently, those scalpers secured the tickets and selling it triple the original price. (DAMN GILA WEI.) Another ticket sellers online = scammers. But, not all are scammers, some are really service providers for their clients. There are posts of scalpers trying to scam their clients by faking the ticket content/layout and claimed they manage to buy the tickets. WALAO EH.😡I think instead of having tutorials on how to buy tickets, they should upload how to avoid scalpers or how to detect ticket scalpers before purchase. 

Anyway, I guess that's all for my experience in buying tickets. The experience I described is just like how Malaysians rushed the whole day to secure Covid 19 Vaccine.  

It's ok that I didn't secure tickets to Coldplay but I have other better things to concern for my future. 😌
