THE ROAD TO ESCAPE FROM THE VIRUS

My last trip?

Let me guess.....

Malacca? But I missed Penang's food.

Have you thought of where to go in the first place after MCO (Movement Control Order)?

It may be your bucket list in your traveling journey plan.

For me, I do have too.

It was one of my plan for 2020 to go somewhere I never experience before and it was related to cultural heritage, food and of course like sight-seeing kind of stuff. As, I mentioned earlier regarding travel post, I am always a tourist (a fake one of course since I resided in KL) excited to explore my country.

I couldn’t think of any place to go except the mall. (Which I still prefer to be a temporary introvert while the MCO is on-going.) The only thing I could think of is my work-desk and my crib.

Food? – Home-cook and lunch box are the best at this time. I still refused to dine out although many people start to go out. Takeouts are still preferable at this hour and I am still uncertain of the public’s safety. Stay home is the best we can do now until Covid-19 is over.

Until today, people around the world  are still wearing the face mask, with the tiny bottle of hand sanitiser placed in your kai-kai bag or your working bag. We still bring it everywhere and that is still the current “vaccine” and the only hope that can protect us from getting infected from the silent killer.

I am still hoping for a miracle where there will be a “vaccine” that can help us all.

This year’s trip plan is supposed to be somewhere we should have go and visit and we decided to pick the date on Eid Mubarak week to make it more fun and joy. I thought it will be something special for me to go there to relax and to experience another level of a new environment. Even if I lowered down my expectations, things happens. But, this time is an unfortunate (which I did not see it in a negative way, I decided to turn the other way round which is the positive way of thinking.) but there’s huge lessons behind this episode of wisdom. At the end of this, I take it as an experience when things doesn’t go what it seems. But, I never regret it because I know how things works when you unable to reach your goal.

The recent thing that kept me stay awake is something I found and love to do. Something that can rest my mind away. Something that is interesting to develop and to gain. I would not say anything here since I prefer to keep under my hat. In the meantime, I was self-reflecting about how well I do in my current stage. I hate my previous negative thinking, is like when you rewind back the thoughts, it hunts you but this time is not severe. Because you manage to build the wall. A concrete wall that can block that negativity. I feel proud and until now I am doing what I’m doing. The best to think of is to absorb the little things that runs in between your journey  (no matter how bitter or sweet is) to reach your main goal.  That is why I once heard a saying “Focus on the journey, not the destination.”

Sometimes is better to pace yourself accordingly, because life is a marathon not a sprint. Yes, You are committed with things and yet you try so hard to fill in the slot just for something might be valuable for you to discover. It’s ok to put it aside for awhile, but if you ignored it for a long time, you may never able to experience the journey. At least once in a while you have to follow up what’s the plan that you have procrastinated several months ago. Trust me, I am not good at this and everybody’s a procrastinator when it comes to certain things.

That’s one thing reflects back of what my favourite music band discussed,“the irony of life”.We have to keep going down the path we were on and always think with energy. The energy we want to give is more than what we think of the pressure and the emptiness we once experienced in with. In life, every process is accompanied with blood, sweat and tears. There are many things you want to achieve and the positive energy that we want to give is bigger than the desire to run away. And that’s why, you/me & us can continue.

It’s going to be 3am soon.

I have a live show to follow up.

Good night!
