Board Games and Laughter

Fireworks and Firecrackers, red envelopes, warm red lanterns and family reunions ; are everything beautiful associated with the Chinese New Year, which makes it a fascinating event of worth witnessing.

This year is the Year of Rat 2020.
(I still wonder why the cat is not in the zodiac list?)
According to the Chinese Astrology,
“Rats are clever, quick thinkers: successful, but content with living a quiet and peaceful life. - #YearofRATCNY2020
Wow! It looks like a good year for all the 96’s and the rest. I’m a rooster, and I don’t read much about my zodiac because sometimes it’s just coincidence and sometimes not. – Don't have expectation.
This time, I decided to inactive social medias during the merriment of CNY Eve and spend time playing board games with my cousins, nephews and nieces. The last time I’ve been playing PS4 Overcooked with Mel, both of us ended up yelling and screaming during the game. The game needs co-ordination and lots of teamwork. (Really? With only 2 players can ahh?) I’m putting my everyday admiration away and filling in some new ventures.
I am definitely into new board games or any old-fashioned board games right now. I didn’t know my cousins play board games until I asked about the Cluedo/Clue. There’s even a few board game cafés, one of it was around SS15 Petaling Jaya and I was loss for words within a minute after my own eldest cousin and aunty shared with me.
That CNY evening after few bowls of “fat and happiness”, we played 4 lines in a row game. One of my nephew is good with the game and also lost to it because he thought he won but it was the other party won. (Sheng is Red, Xiang is Yellow, Xiang thought that he was yellow during the 4 lines in row game and also thought of finishing the final round. Eventually, Sheng won. xD) I’m suck at explaining, especially in a board game and I would rather Youtube and show to you directly before we start the game.

Note to herself:

Honestly, I am so done to feel like flogging a dead horse and I need to push myself up; HARDER. But, less stress and more “Take it as it comes” vibes. Although there is a huge wave in the ocean, for a surfer, it’s a never-ending.
