The Greatest Showman
I received an invitation text from my high school bestie, Vivien, to join her watching a musical movie - The Greatest Showman. Before I could reply, I cross my mind for a good 5 minutes, thinking if I could spend time with her. It true, is been a while I haven't contact her for months, after the last outing last year. Look at how time flies. Everyone is growing up, running around city catching up trains/busses/uber to just not to miss another 5 minutes before the clock strikes LATE; running errands on weekends while you have no time for yourself; rushing for the occasions you are suppose to attend, browsing the network for more strong articles as your references. Look how busy we are.
So, I've decided and we are on for the movie. I've booked the 4.15pm tickets for us so we can spend more time on talking about our current updates.
After 15 minutes of hunting for car park, we spend our lunch time at Four Fingers. It was my first time and how did I not to dare say that the chicken is delicious but with the combination of rice and mix sauce on it, it taste seamlessly better. We spend the next 2 hours talking about our activities, just found out her grandma's passing in 2017 and also my cousin's sudden passed in 2017. We share our thoughts and opinions about how things goes and how certain things is not what it seems. We share our current personalities and also short incidents happen in any organization. Business development talks - what it was all about and which one is worth.
Of course there are possibilities that people might think is impossible but just say that it's possible! Is like you living in your own head, and all the colours spinning and realise there are million dreams to keeping you awake. - Wow, where I get that from?
Before I could write a review about the movie, I swear that I did not know that movie is a musical until Vivie brought it up otw to cinema. So, it looks like I just booked the tickets without reading the plot story of the movie. BUT, the main characters are Xmen's Logan and Troy Bolton. So, it is a yes! Definitely yes for me! I heard of Hugh Jackman sings in musicals and never forget Zac Efron in HSM series! Throwback the old times when high school musical was off the hook and there is when you could see every kids and middle teens twirling around following the dance choreography to finish the song. By that time, Camp Rock was another hit, but still I preferred high school musical. Kenny Ortega's work was flawless in that 3 musicals. Everything is so perfect, the dance and the energetic of the people and the way they work with positivity (if you watch their behind the scenes). I love musicals and I really really hope to watch the theatre version. Live one perhaps. I'll get goose bump if I have that chance. There's another thing here, I listen to orchestras for peace and serenity because music speaks a thousand word.
After the movie, we have Ah Cheng Laksa for our quick dinner. I enjoyed my pan mee and she enjoyed her asam curry laksa. At 7pm ++, off home and having a major headache. Thank you for your time and company bestie. Love you so much!
