She is resting when rains pouring.
I don't remembered how we met but this 'kid' is really lovable. I don't considered the 'shemale' kitty as a kid since she has 6 nipples (Or 8...Don't know lah.). I assumed she is a ladycat and she may have her little ones on the other site of the neighbourhood. Only if I knew. The photos above are based on mobilegraphy.
Before I start this story of "How I met the kitty", I personally LOVE having pets. I love furball and feathery creatures especially cats, dogs, rabbits, small birds, hamsters, mouse etc. These creatures are amazingly cute to resist and also part of our life as a pet owner. I used to own 2 rabbits and a 'luo han' fish in a medium-size aquarium. Guppy fishes was my first pet. Although it was boring, but I find it fascinating when the male guppies are full with technicolors. Another part is I witness female guppies giving birth to baby guppies. Unfortunately, the baby guppies unable to survive due to fish food is too big for them to consume. (Everytime I dropped the fish food bit-by-bits they will swim down to get it but it was too big for them to chew.) IKR.
The rabbits pet period was another tough one. I was in secondary school and was eager to rear rabbits after amazed by cousin's rabbit. I got my own male rabbit from the night markets and simply named him after the The Great Mouse Detective, Basil. Yeah, I tooked the name from a fictional character of a mouse. A rabbit with a mouse name. HAHAHA, I KID YOU NOT. Basil was adorable and lovely. He never bites but he licks my hand for food. He is so calm and chill type. He never caused much trouble except peeing issues. Rabbit's pee is really grosser than the poop. The poops looks like Nestle's Milo Cereal. Another fella is a female rabbit, April. She is a very stubborn and disobedient female rabbit or shall I call a little Dennis the menace. She is totally opposite to Basil. Not to mention, Basil is black color while April is New Zealand's cow color. Although April bites, she is very intelligent. Is like, she has rabbit's IQ. She knows where to hide and seek and even play with freeze time. (When I played freeze, she come and sniff on my leg and I scared her and she ran away, as if I was frozen.) April also knows when I want to keep her back in the cage which she loath as much as I loath the time to catch her back. (Guess what, she hide under cars to avoid me reach her, how bloody beard smart she is, that fella.) That was one time, I look for her before I went to bed, I forgot that she was still outdoors in our interior area so she has been playing hide and seek all along. But that time was so surprising, she walked behind me while I stumbled slowly not knowing that she was behind me! As I turn back, she FREAK OUT like the mouse expression. When I saw her expression she looks like " SHIT, SHE KNEW I AM BEHIND HER ALL ALONG!". THAT DARN FELLA.
I haven't rear pets ever since I lost my rabbits, However, I always want to own a male cat to accompany me daily. Especially after busy and before bed. I like how people slept with their pets together as is like pet bonding. It was a special feeling between a small cute creature and a human being. After I have settled slowly, I always see kitties everywhere. They never stop appearing even in cartoon or plushie forms. Cat videos in YOUTUBE and all. I can't handle the cuteness of them. They are so cute.
Cocoa's Story:
One fine day, I was having breakfast and heading to the wet kitchen to wash dishes. "Meow...Meow...Meow....". I stopped and look over my kitchen window and saw a brown creature. It sit not entirely upright in front of the neighbor's kitchen door waiting for food. It meows continuously. Pity the cat. Pity how hungry it is. Pity how hard for it to live without physiological needs just like human beings. Sorry for being so melodramatic here.
I looked at the cat as an abandoned orphan. So pity. I stopped and wistfully thoughtful of food for the cat. I look for any kind of food to help it from starving. Mom insist to feed it with abandon anchovies head with a little grains. I opened the kitchen door, it looked at me as I called it. The cat meowing as if thanking me for food. It just faster run towards me and sniff my leg and starred deeply with its own blue eyes to me. I pleaded with a friendly smile, rubbed and patted its head. From there, I found out that cat was a female. Her brown fur is messy but furry, her nose is wet as if she catch a cold, her tail is very soft-sentimental.
After a couple of days feeding the cat, we decided to buy cat whiskers for her. I personally want to let her grow up healthily instead of skinny like other poor strays. In fact, we did purchased some fish for her. Whenever she comes, she will be waiting for good food. I once threw a chicken breast which is so yummy to eat with chicken rice to her for dinner and she 'thank' us. At certain time, I find that she is also intelligent. She knew if I did not answer her call, she will go to the front gate and call us. That one time, I was busy preparing lunch, the cat come and ask for food. I informed her to wait, and she suddenly paused. After 15 minutes of waiting, I finally gave her the fish and rice and placed it nearby the kitchen door. I was surprised to see the cat is missing. I wonder where she would be. After 5 minutes of waiting, I heard the same "meow" echoed from the kitchen. I followed the sound of the echo to the living room and saw her sitting in front of the gate door. SURPRISINGLY SHE KNEW THE FRONT DOOR AS WELL. HOW BRILLIANT IS THIS CAT.
From that day onwards, I will ALWAYS serve her. I named the little stray "COCOA" from her brown skin fur.
FIN.
