Black Friday Potluck 2019 + Outing with Chiew Ee

13.12.2019 (Black Friday CD Portluck 2019)

We hosted a pot luck on Friday for a small gathering celebrating the “almost the end of 2019.”

HYan cooked “Bean Bean Rice” in her pressure cooker. (Gotta get one, someday as I heard it is easy to cook a lot of food.)

Dina and Kak Shah prepared the “Tom Yam” soup; I get ready with the steamboat oden and mushrooms while Anis preparing her signature drink.

The rest help preparing the empty cups/bowls/plates/cutleries , setting the table while waiting for the food to cook. We have big prawns and squid (I hate sotong until now, because the tentacles and the black ink.)

After a few rounds of steamboat oden, all of us decided to play games; Charades (Movie Version) and “Jengga”. Meanwhile, I rushed to the pantry to get the guava and asam boi. (jambu hijau and asam boi). FYI, if you look at the menu above, it stated pickled. But I decided to make an easy-snack instead of pickled because I don't know how to…. Soooo sorry,Yan. xDD I even sliced some fresh red apples too and it taste so good after dinner. Fresh from the market, you know.

During the Charades game, almost 80% I guess movie correctly. Why ahh? Why am I good at this? Because I am good at observing their body movement during the game. Even I get to guess Transformers, when Taz just only do 1 type of movement. The most longest time to guess the movie is when Senior Lily’s turn. I don’t know how she use her way of explain the movie Sailormoon, when she closed both of her arms and lay on the left side as if she was sleeping and doing the wave movement.

I asked what is with the sleeping and waving? She said, sleeping - refers to the moon, because you only sleep at night and you will see the moon shines brightly in the dark skies. As for the waving -, she said what you call yourself when you ride a big boat? – sailor. (LMAO….LAUGH DIE ME SIA….)

During my part, I was clueless and sort of being a dorkie-me. I don't know why I told “Wonderwoman” as 4 words by right is actually 2 words. And….”Beauty and the Beast” as 5 words. #BIGFACEPALM…..HYan laugh at me. XDD I know right… And I still can't resist the way of HYan acted out as Aladdin by "rubbing the lamp" movement. Until now, still funny to me! I can't help it! XDD  

The Jengga session was the most terrified game we had, 90% of us stayed back until we finished the game. I only took 2 rounds to play because I'll be on crack if I play too long. My Boss, Evin, HYan, KShin, Kak Shah are good players.

Not to forget the part, when we are supposed to have our guava and asam-boi during the game session. I rushed to the ground floor pantry just to get the freshly-cut guava from the fridge and a bottle of asam-boi as the dressing. Upon I reach the table, all of them started to questioned me how to eat with the asam-boi? (I laugh….Ahahahaha) I taught them how to eat by using the guava and rub the asam-boi on the top of the guava and take a big bite! 

My boss love it so much and she said” This is the first time eating guava and asam-boi taught by a young girl over here – me.) (LAUGH DIE ME AGAIN…XDD…I’m surprised nobody knows how to eat guava and asam-boi like this…) Maybe not everyone…Okaaay….

We ended at 9.45pm after I lose the Jengga Game and the punishment is to dance a song before we go home. (BTS - Boy With Luv xDD)

Little High, Little Ho!

14.12.2019 (Saturday 2pm-6pm Outing with Chiew Ee)

Things that happened on that day:

1.    I almost stuck at the Ticket Machine near the Entrance, I took out my I/C card and Watson card after I found out I have insuffiecient balance for my TNGo card.

2.    I accidentally took out RM500 after the stupid ATM machine lagged for 5 minutes; Chiew Ee forgot to bring her ATM card so, we exchanged cash and online transfer to settle the problem.

3.    I bought a dress for CNY at PADINI but took the wrong size

(settled on Sunday after I drove to Sunway again to exchange the size.)

4.    I ate too much chicken a Dubuyo Restaurant and end up take-away the 2 remaining pieces left.

5.    It took 20 minutes for Chiew Ee to find her medicine shop while I need to find WATSON to upload my TNGo cards.

6.    Chiew Ee managed to find her “Kek Lapis”/ Crepe Cake for her sister’s birthday.

7.    We decided to go another time in January 2020 for another outing! =D
